Location: Teaching Garden Barn

Seeds want to germinate when the time is right, but how do they know when that is?  Learn how seeds know it's spring and how we can trick them into starting early using our fridge.  Participants will learn about seed dormancy, how and when to break it to germinate seeds.  They'll take home a small container of native seeds prepared to successfully germinate and grow for next spring.
